Terms of Use

These terms apply to Acord for Android, provided by the Owner, publishing as Maxapp. Contact: auto17191@gmail.com. By using Acord, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Using Acord

Acord provides music-tuning, metronome and reference-tone tools. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app lawfully on compatible devices. You must not misuse the service, infringe others’ rights, bypass payment or access controls, or redistribute the app without permission. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Free features and Premium

Core features are available free of charge. Premium unlocks additional instruments, tunings and practice features described in the app. The available plans and features may vary by release, region and Google Play availability. The purchase screen and Google Play checkout show the applicable price, billing period, taxes and offer conditions before you confirm.

Subscriptions, trials and renewal

Payments are processed by Google Play using your Google account. A subscription renews automatically at the stated billing interval unless you cancel before renewal. If an eligible free trial is offered, Google Play shows its duration and the price that applies afterwards; it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and availability are determined by the offer shown to you.

Manage or cancel in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Acord. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After cancellation, access generally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to Google Play’s applicable terms. See Google Play subscription help.

One-time purchases and restoration

If a lifetime option is offered, it is a one-time purchase of the Premium entitlement for Acord, with no recurring subscription charge. It does not promise that the app or every platform will remain available indefinitely. To restore an eligible purchase, use the same Google account and select Restore purchases in Acord’s settings. Purchases on a different platform do not automatically transfer to Android.

Refunds and billing questions

Refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies and applicable consumer law. Cancellation alone does not automatically refund an earlier charge. For eligibility and requests, see Google Play refund help. You can also contact us for help identifying a purchase or restoring access. Do not send full payment-card information.

Permissions and privacy

The tuner needs microphone permission to detect musical pitch. Microphone audio is processed locally and is not stored or uploaded. Other data practices, including local preferences, Google Play purchases, optional analytics and support requests, are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and responsible use

Acord requires a compatible Android device. Tuning results can vary with background noise, microphone quality, the instrument and device performance. Use your judgement when adjusting an instrument and use a comfortable playback volume. The app is a music utility and is not intended for medical, safety-critical or professional measurement purposes.

We may update the app to fix issues or improve features. Service availability and compatibility can change. We will respect applicable obligations concerning paid digital content, material changes and remedies.

Ownership and limitations

The app’s software, design and content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Google Play and Android are trademarks of their respective owners. Except for rights that cannot legally be excluded, Acord is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your statutory consumer remedies.

Ending use, updates and contact

You may stop using Acord at any time. Cancel any subscription separately through Google Play. We may restrict access where necessary to address unlawful use or a material breach, subject to applicable law. We may revise these terms and will communicate material changes as legally required. The updated date above identifies this version.
